IHC Staining
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) is currently used in both research and clinical settings for the diagnosis of abnormal cells and the distribution and localization of certain proteins-of-interest in the cell. abm offers IHC staining services using a wide range of validated antibodies- over 200 high specificity antibodies for a variety of pathological markers.
With fast turn-around times and competitive prices, we can help you detect any marker you desire with high sensitivity and minimum background. All staining will be done automatically using the Leica BOND-MAX Autostainer to guarantee consistent results. Send us your unstained sectioned FFPE tissue slide and we will do the staining for you.
In addition to IHC staining, abm’s full range of histology services includes tissue or cell pellet processing, embedding, sectioning and routine or special staining for paraffin samples.

Dual staining service offers simultaneous staining of two markers-of interest. This service is restricted to the simultaneous detection of one (1) Mouse antibody (Stained brown) and one (1) Rabbit Antibodies (Stained red). Customers to provide: (1) a minimum of 20 μg of each primary antibody (2) information regarding optimal antibody dilution for both antibodies (3) sectioned FFPE slides (4) one positive control slide for each of the marker of interest. Sample Submission Guidelines and Shipping Instructions
Please fill out our Histology Service Request Form, and email it to quotes@abmgood.com to initiate an inquiry. Before shipping, please fill out our Histology Services Sample Submission Form with your order number and follow the shipping instructions for your samples.

| Unstained slides | Place slides in microscope slide boxes. Make sure to seal and wrap the box well. |
| Formalin-Fixed wet tissues | Transfer formalin-fixed sample to 70% alcohol. Seal and wrap the container well to prevent leaks. |
| Fixed cell pellet | Transfer the samples to 70% alcohol. Seal and wrap the container well to prevent leaks. |
| FFPE tissue blocks. | Ship tissue blocks in a cassette case or bag. During the month of May to August, ship blocks with gel ice pack to prevent the block from melting due to higher temperatures. |
